    NABOB And Morehouse Partner To Start ‘Social Media Today’ Internship Program

    The National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters Telecommunications Education and Management Foundation and NABOB member, Davis Broadcasting, Inc. of Columbus, GA. announced a partnership with Morehouse College to establish the “Social Media Today” internship program.

    What We Know:

    • The internship will allow a junior or senior the opportunity to gain a real-world social media, digital and communications experience inside the commercial media center of Davis Broadcasting, Inc.
    • The 1-year-curriculum was designed under the guidance of Dimensions Media, LLC, a digital marketing firm in Atlanta, GA. CEO & Founder of Dimensions Media, LLC, Ms. Ashley Smith will serve as the internship coordinator during the inaugural year of the program’s development.
    • Director of Marketing & Sales at Morehouse College, Dr. Cassandra Wells says “University learning can only take you so far. You start to sharpen and improve the professional skills related to your career, once you are on the job.”

    The internship will begin during the second semester of the 2019-2020 academic year.
