    2020 GRAMMYs Nominee List

    The 2020 GRAMMYs Nominee List was released Wednesday morning November 20, 2019.

    2020 GRAMMY Award nominees were announced this morning. The announcement was made by President and CEO Deborah Dugan, Academy Chair of the Board of Trustees Harvey Mason Jr. alongside hosts Alicia Keys and Bebe Rexha.

    Last year some notable winners were Childish Gambino, who won both Song and Record of the Year, and Dua Lipa who won Best New Artist.

    This year’s leading nominees include Lil Nas X, Lizzo, Beyonce, Billie Eilish and more. Billie Eilish is also the youngest artist ever to be nominated in all four categories: Album of The Year, Song of The Year, Record of The Year, and Best New Artist. Beyonce racked in many nominations including Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Song Written for Visual Media for her song “Spirit”. She is also nominated for Best Music Film for her project Homecoming. The Lion King: The Gift, one of her latest projects, is nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media, and Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media. 

    The GRAMMYs will take place on January 26, 2020, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Some of this year’s nominees are:
