Netflix is working on an all black western movie where Idris Elba will play a lead role.
What We Know:
- Idris Elba will work alongside Jonathan Majors to bring an all black western film to life. The Harder They Fall will focus on outlaw Nat Love, played by Majors, who has discovered the man (Elba) that murdered his parents many years ago. Nate Love is hunting for revenge after being released from prison and will stop at nothing to find his enemy.
- The film is being produced by director Jeymes Samuel and rapper Jay-Z will also produce music for the film’s soundtrack. The two have paired up previously to produce The Great Gatsby soundtrack therefore, fans will probably have high expectations for this film.
- Elba may have quite an interest in western films because he recently finished wrapping up another western film Concrete Cowboys, which he began filming earlier this year. So you can expect to see Elba on your television screens all throughout 2020.
- The vengeance drama is one of Netflix’s most anticipated films, and fans are ready to see the final project. Unfortunately, the official release date of the film hasn’t been disclosed by Netflix and there are no other details about other cast members at this time.
