We could feel the energy oozing out of the screen as Diddy reacted to news that his friend, the late and great Notorious B.I.G, would be inducted into the Rock ‘N Roll Hall of Fame.

    What We Know:

    • Diddy took to Instagram to express his excitement after he learned that the legendary MC Notorious B.I.G., who got his start with Diddy at Bad Boy Records, would be inducted into the Cleveland-based Rock ‘N Roll Hall of Fame this spring.
    • As “Juicy” echoed in the background, Diddy screamed “Whoooooo!!! I want to share this special moment, special announcement with y’all. Biggie you did it! You did it you mf! Blap blap blap!” He goes on to say “We miss you, King! New York stand up!”

    • Brooklyn native, Christopher Wallace, better known as The Notorious B.I.G. or “Biggie” began his career and friendship with Diddy in the early 90s when he signed with Bad Boy in 1993. Biggie released several successful albums including Ready To Die, Life After Death, and Born Again. In 1997, Biggie was tragically gunned down shortly after leaving an industry party in California.
    • The Rock ‘N Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony takes place on May 2 and will be broadcast live on HBO at 8 p.m. EST. Performances and special guests have yet to be announced.

In addition to Biggie, Whitney Houston will be inducted in as well.
