Raz B Arrested for DUI in Los Angeles

De’Mario Monte Thornton aka “Raz B”, had a rocky start to his 2020 after getting arrested for a DUI in Burbank, California early Wednesday morning.

    What We Know:

    • The B2K member was spotted running a red light around 3 am. Soon after being pulled dover, the singer admitted to drinking and smoking marijuana earlier that night. He reportedly failed sobriety tests administered by police and the breathalyzer indicated his blood-alcohol level was well over the legal limit. He was released after posting $5,000 bail.
    • This isn’t Raz B’s first run in with the law. He was arrested last May for domestic violence in Minnesota after claims were made that he allegedly strangled his girlfriend in a parking lot. Any rebuttal to the allegations were simply that he fought back in self-defense. After the authorities got involved when the woman alerted family about the incident, Raz was swiftly arrested. He was eventually cleared of the charges.
    • Another confrontation last year involved a LYFT driver where he publicly accused the man of refusing to return his Louis Vuitton bag full of expensive belongings. The driver claimed that it wasn’t until another passenger got into his car that he realized that the bag was back there at all. The driver demanded an apology, of which he never got.
    • In addition to those two events, Raz B took to Instagram in March to announce he was leaving the B2K’s Millennium Tour. The reason for the sudden departure was over the fact that he didn’t feel safe around the group’s former manager, who he had previously accused of sexual abuse.

It is up to speculation whether Raz B is a trouble magnet or simply likes the attention, but one thing is for sure, timing seems like a coincidence. He announced a new single “NDA” earlier this month that is rumored to appear on the forthcoming album Full Disclosure.
