    Kobe Bryant, Daughter Gianna Honored With Basketball Court Mural In Metro Manila

    A well known basketball court in Metro Manila, Philippines is covered with artwork to honor the late Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna who passed in a helicopter crash.

    What We Know :

    • Many artists as well as residents painted the mural for Kobe and Gianna in 24 hours.
    • The tenement housing complex holds a famous basketball court that was once covered with the face of sports’ legends like Michael Jordan, Lebron James, and Manny Pacquiao.
    • Eddie Barbuena, who owns the tenements basketball teams, said: “This is our tribute to them. We will always love you Kobe Bryant”.
    • Fans have been visiting the mural to pay their respects, write messages, and take pictures. The mural’s color is black with the words Kobe and Gianna painted in white.
    • Mike Swift, who is a Filipino native Hip-hop artist, was one of the main conductors of the mural. Swift took to Instagram to write: “We will continue to mourn the loss, but more important is that we make sure the legacy of Kobe Bryant and Gianna Bryant lives in our hearts forever.”

    Fans and celebrities have continued to repost the beautiful mural on their social media pages. Rest in Peace to Kobe and Gianna Bryant as well as all the victims of the unfortunate January 26th helipcopter crash.
