The Fall induction ceremony will also honor Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, The Doobie Brothers, T-Rex, and Notorious B.I.G.

    What We Know:

    • The event was postponed due to the worries of spreading the COVID-19, a disease caused by coronavirus.
    • The ceremony was originally scheduled for May 2 and it will now take place on November 7.
    • The event will broadcast live from Cleveland’s Public Auditorium at 8 p.m. on HBO. This will be the first time the ceremony will be broadcast in real-time on the network.
    • The full list of 2020 inductees are Depeche Mode, The Doobie Brothers, Whitney Houston, Nine Inch Nails, The Notorious B.I.G., and T-Rex. Jon Landau and Irving Azoff are expected to recieve the Ahmet Ertegun Award, named after the Atlantic Records founder and chairman who established the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation.

Earlier this month the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame made the decision to temporarily close their museum from March 14 through 27th of March. All further updates will be posted on their website.
