Rihanna gives her fans updates on her new anticipated album R9 while promoting her new Fenty Skin line but has not yet released a date.

    What We Know:

    • Rihanna had an exclusive interview with Access Hollywood discussing the release of her new Fenty Skin, which launches July 31. During the interview, she also talks about having new music on the way. She states, “I love making music, so I never neglect it. I always get to it and get back to it. But there’s other things on the carousel now, so I have to pay attention to everything and stay on top of everything.”

    • The Navy, Rihanna’s fan base, have been waiting for new music for years. She released her last album, Anti in 2016. While she isn’t making music, she has been building her Fenty business which includes the Fenty Beauty line, Savage x Fenty lingerie collection and the Fenty fashion brand. She explains that music is still her first love and she can’t wait to put new music out there for her fans.

    • Rihanna had previously released an album every year but she states that her workload has increased. Since the start of her music career, she is the youngest solo artist to score 14 no. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100. She’s sold over 54 million albums and 210 million tracks worldwide. The 32-year-old artist has won eight Grammy Awards and has 14 Billboard Music Awards.
    • The singer has said she is grateful for her fans sticking by her side after all this time. She says, “I thought that was just a few years ago, now it’s like a decade plus. That is what I think about! But I’m also really grateful to still be here and being able to expand into other ventures. I’m grateful. It’s been fun and I can’t even complain.”

Rihanna’s new Fenty line is a gender neutral skin-care brand that is made for all skin tones and types.
