Bad Boys For Ever!
Will Smith and Martin Lawrence confirmed Tuesday that they will reunite for a fourth Bad Boys film!
The upcoming flick is reportedly in pre-production at Sony Pictures and will be directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah from a script by Chris Bremner.
The fourth film in the buddy cop movie series, which began in 1995, has been in the works for quite some time, but it wasn’t given the official greenlight until just recently.
Yesterday, Will and Martin took to social media to let everyone know a fourth installment is on the way! Watch their funny announcement below:
Before COVID shut down everything in March 2020, the third film, Bad Boys for Life, grossed more than $426 million worldwide; with a domestic four-day opening of $73 million, following its January 17, 2020 release. The action film had the second-best MLK weekend ever. The global box office total for the Bad Boys franchise is $840.7 million.
Bad Boys 4 will be produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Smith for Westbrook, Doug Belgrad, and Chad Oman, with Lawrence, James Lassiter, Mike Stenson, Barry Walden, and Jon Mone serving as executive producers.
The filmmakers, El Arbi and Fallah, previously directed Sony Pictures’ Bad Boys for Life, which reunited Will and Martin 25 years after the original iconic Bad Boys film was released. Are you here for Part 4?
STARZ just renewed “Power Book II: Ghost” for Season 4 as fans patiently wait for Season 3’s premiere next month.
According to Deadline, Season 4 is currently in production in New York, and the new season will introduce a new character. Barbershop star Michael Ealy is set to join the cast in a series regular role.
Michael Ealy will play Detective Don Carter, a rising NYPD officer who was on track to become Police Commissioner until his wife was killed in a crossfire between rival drug gangs. Carter traded in his tie for a kevlar vest, and now leads an elite NYPD drug task force that achieves concrete results against drug-related violence. While his accomplishments deserve public recognition, nothing can replace his lost love.
As for Season 3, everyone is grieving after Zeke is murdered, but the streets do not care. Tariq, Brayden, Monet, and the Tejadas face new challenges and questions as they navigate new twists and turns that will ultimately determine whether they level up or get taken down! Watch the teaser below.
