*Tennis champ Serena Williams has teamed with “Succession” star Brian Cox for a Michelob Ultra Super Bowl commercial.
This marks the third time that the 23-time Grand Slam champion has collaborated with the beer brand, and this time their campaign is a “Caddyshack”-inspired battle between Williams with Cox. The full commercial dropped on Feb. 1 — check it out via the YouTube clip above.
“He was in all of my scenes, so I kind of felt special,” Williams tells PEOPLE about working alongside Cox.
“I would love to play a little more golf, honestly for the photo opportunities,” Williams admits to USA TODAY. “I had a pretty decent drive because I’m a tennis player.”

Williams retired following the 2022 U.S. Open and says she “got the golf bug” after filming this Super Bowl commercial
“My dad did have myself and my sister (Venus) play golf when we were younger,” Williams recalls. “We used to go to the driving range, (but) I never really got the golf bug until after this commercial.”
In addition to Cox, Michelob’s Super Bowl TV spot features a slew of A-list athletes including NBA star Jimmy Butler, World Cup champion Alex Morgan, WNBA champion Nneka Ogwumike and quarterback-turned-commentator Tony Romo, per USA Today.
“They really champion gender equity,” Williams said of Michelob ULTRA, as the ad has equal representation of female and male athletes. “Besides loving the product, it’s also super-fun to go with a company that walks the walk and talks the talk.”
Super Bowl LVII goes down on Feb. 12 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
