The official trailer for Mo’Nique’s Netflix stand-up comedy special, “My Name is Mo’Nique” just dropped and we’ve got the first look. Peep the trailer inside, plus see how Tamar Braxtongave SWV their flowers in the midst of feuding with XSCAPE singer Kandi Burruss inside…

If you’re a fan of comedy that’s unapologetic, real, and downright hilarious, then you’re in for a treat! Netflix has just dropped the official trailer for Mo’Nique’s latest stand-up special, “My Name is Mo’Nique,” and it looks absolutely hilarious.

In “My Name is Mo’Nique,” the comedian delivers a career-defining performance that will have you laughing until you cry. But it’s not just all jokes and punchlines. The Precious star digs deep into her own life experiences, sharing stories about growing up on the mean streets of Baltimore, learning important lessons from her Grandma Mimi, and coming to terms with the harsh realities of life.

In the new comedy special, Mo talks candidly about her own struggles and challenges, but does so with humor and grace. You’ll come away feeling like you truly understand what makes Mo the force of nature that she is.

Many have rallied behind her after she sued Netflix for allegedly “systematically underpaying” Black women, a lawsuit that was reportedly settled in 2017. Initially, Netflix offered Mo’Nique a measly $500,000 for a one-hour special that would give the streaming giant full control, including owning the copyrights and audio. When she pushed back, they walked away from negotiations.

Peep the trailer for her upcoming stand-up special below:

“My Name is Mo’Nique” premieres globally on Netflix on April 4th.

It’s #womenhistorymonth and I want to take a moment to show love to the incredible @officialswv. You guys have inspired so many of us. I’ve been a fan and I’m still a fan. And I’m honored to have sample you all on my new single “Changed.” . pic.twitter.com/BKT0KASM2O

Amid her social media drama with XSCAPE singer Kandi Burruss, recently engaged Tamar Braxton is showing legendary singing group SWV as she promotes her new single, “Changed,” which samples one of the group’s hit tracks. Her new single “Changed” samples SWV’s “Right Here (Human Nature Remix).”

During Women’s History Month, Tamar Braxton, herself a talented singer and reality TV star, took a moment to pay tribute to the iconic R&B trio that dominated the ’90s with their soulful harmonies and chart-topping hits. By “giving SWV their flowers,” the “Braxton Family Values” star acknowledged their contributions to music and culture, and celebrated the powerful legacy of women in the industry.

“It’s #womenhistorymonth and I want to take a moment to show love to the incredible @officialswv,” Tamar tweeted. “You guys have inspired so many of us. I’ve been a fan and I’m still a fan And I’m honored to have sample you all on my new single ‘Changed.’”

The former “The Real” co-host has been feuding with XSCAPE singer Kandi Burruss after she confirmed Kandi and her husband Todd Tucker are the alleged couple that threatened her. The feud comes just as SWV and XSCAPE disagree on who should headline their joint show on their BRAVO reality series.

It’s so much drama going on.

On a recent episode of “SWV & XSCAPE: Queens of R&B” on Bravo, the two legendary groups and their fans engaged in a heated debate over who should open for whom during their joint performance. While SWV proposed a co-headlining arrangement where both groups’ music would be integrated throughout the night, XSCAPE pushed for the New York divas to open for the Atlanta foursome. The suggestion prompted Coko Clemons, a member of SWV, to call out the BS and remind everyone of her group’s massive success, saying, “I sold 30 million records, bi**h.”

The general consensus among fans on social media was in favor of both groups co-headlining the show, which prompted Kandi Burruss and Tameka “Tiny” Harris to defend their opposing stance.

We may not have been the headliners in the 90s but we have been for the past 6yrs since we’ve reunited… & respectfully they’ve opened up for us multiple times already. #SWVXSCAPE #TheQueensOfRB

    — Kandi Burruss (@Kandi) March 20, 2023

“We may not have been the headliners in the 90s but we have been for the past 6yrs since we’ve reunited… & respectfully they’ve opened up for us multiple times already,” Kandi tweeted.

We NOT talking record sales we talking ticket sales.

    — Tameka Harris (@TinyMajorMama) March 20, 2023

“We NOT talking record sales we talking ticket sales,” Tiny tweeted.

Tiny responded to a fan insisting they co-headline, tweeting, “So you want us to take a pay cut and give them a raise? I don’t care what the flyer say, but that billing has to add up.”

SWV singer Leanne “LeLee” Lyons is not here for the drama. She recently took to IG Live to address everything that’s going on between her group and XSCAPE on the show.

    Watch below:

Guess we’ll have to tune in to BRAVO for a new episode of “SWV & Xscape: Queens Of R&B” this Sunday to find out what happens next. Will you be tuning in?
