Girls are suddenly equipped with the power to electrocute people in the upcoming Amazon Studios’ new series, The Power.

The first three episodes will premiere Friday on Prime Video with a new episode dropping each Friday until its season finale on May 12.

In an exclusive featurette below, learn more about Toheeb Jimoh’s character, Tunde Ojo.

The Power is set in various locations around the world to showcase a world that wakes up to teenage girls equipped with electrifying abilities. According to the description:

The Power is our world, but for one twist of nature. Suddenly, and without warning, teenage girls develop the power to electrocute people at will. The series features a cast of remarkable characters from London to Seattle, Nigeria to Eastern Europe, as the Power evolves from a tingle in teenagers’ collarbones to a complete reversal of the power balance of the world.

Aside from Jimoh, the series also stars Toni Collette as Mayor Margot Cleary-Lopez, John Leguizamo as her husband Rob Lopez, Auli’i Cravalho as their daughter Jos Cleary-Lopez, Josh Charles as Daniel Dandon, Eddie Marsan as Bernie Monke, Ria Zmitrowicz as Roxy Monke, Zrinka Cvitešić as Tatiana Moskalev and Halle Bush as Allie Montgomery.

The Power is produced by Amazon Studios and SISTER. Raelle Tucker, writer and executive producer on Jessica Jones and True Blood, will serve as showrunner.

You can access more bonus content with X-Ray. Tap your mobile device, move your cursor on your computer or press up on the Fire TV remote while watching the series.
