*After six years of being engaged, wedding bells will finally be heard for Robin Thicke and his fiancé April Love Geary.
The 46-year-old “Masked Singer” fixture broke the news to People, while attending Bilt Rewards’ Casino Royale Party at the NMHC annual meeting in San Diego, The Daily Mail reports. According to Thicke, he and his 29-year-old significant other will tie the knot this year.
‘Wedding plans are a priority, we’re looking at 2024 and we’re very excited,’ he told People. “My relationship with April continues to grow beautifully as we’ve matured into three-time parents together.”
‘She’s really the most amazing woman a man could ask for,’ Thicke added.
Thicke’s upcoming wedding to Geary comes more than half a decade after popping the question to her on Christmas Eve 2018. The pair share three children: daughters Mia Love, five, and Lola Alain, four, and son Luca Patrick, three. In addition to the trio, Thicke and Geay are co-parents to his son Julian Fuego, 13. Julian’s mother is the “Lost Without You” vocalist’s ex-wife Paula Patton.
Chronicling their relationship, Daily Mail noted that Thicke and Geary were first linked in 2014, after attending the Cannes Film Festival together. The “Blurred Lines” entertainer was 37 and still married to Patton at the time. Geary was 19.
In 2015, Thicke and Patton divorced after more than a decade together. Three years later, he and Geary welcomed their first child Mia.
December 2023 brought Geary’s 29th birthday, which she and Thicke celebrated together in Paris.
Taking to social media, Geary expressed her love for Thicke and how “thankful” she is for her man and their three children.
“Feeling very lucky and VERY loved today. I’m so thankful for my family, my Robin, my friends,” Geary shared on Instagram. “I’m feeling the best I’ve ever felt and life is pretty amazing.
“Thank y’all for the birthday wishes, love you guys thank you @robinthicke for always spoiling me but thank you for planning this birthday trip! Got me out here feeling like a princess.”
