    Kiki Baker Barnes many people couldn’t name a Gulf Coast Athletic Conference school, but were quite familiar with its members such as Fisk and Talladega.

    There are 21 conferences in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Only one is led by a Black woman commissioner.
