*March is Women’s History Month. With so many notable women who deserve to be celebrated, it’s even more important to acknowledge the next generation of achievers who strive for that number-one spot in their respective fields. Shenita Lawson is one of those women.

This college sophomore is making a name for herself as a standout wrestler throughout the Midwest. She’s so good, her winning streak could lead to the 2024 Summer Olympic trials. That means Lawson could be among the group of athletes who qualify to represent the United States in Paris.

How did Lawson get hooked on wrestling, what will it take for her to qualify for the Olympic team and what are her plans after the Olympics?

Click the video to hear her story and how you can support this promising athlete.
