*Natania Reuben, the victim of the 1999 nightclub shooting involving Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, rapper Shyne, and Jennifer Lopez, is once again speaking out about the incident amid the Bad Boy mogul’s latest lawsuit.
For years, Reuben has asserted that it was Diddy, not Shyne, who shot her during an altercation between the rap mogul and Club New York patron Matthew Allen, resulting in injuries to three individuals, including herself.
As Vibe reports, Lopez was arrested and released, while Diddy was acquitted of all charges. Shyne, however, served an eight-year prison sentence. In 2011, Diddy settled civil suits with the victims, paying over $2.3 million.
Over the years, Reuben has publicly addressed the matter, and she recently took to social media to speak out once more. Last week, she posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) in which she appears to be responding to music producer Lil Rod’s lawsuit against Diddy.
As The Jasmine Brand reports, Reuben noted in the video that Lil Rod’s lawsuit “… said something very specific,” she said, adding, “As a means of threatening him, Puffy said, ‘That’s why I shot up the club in New York back in 1999 and let Shyne take the fall for it.’”

She continued, “Let me tell you why that’s of utmost importance to me: Because I am the woman who he shot in the face in that December 27, 1999 Club New York shooting.”
Reuben insists that she has consistently maintained Diddy’s responsibility for the shooting.
“I literally have told everyone and never changed what I said. I watched him. I got pow-pow’d in the face. I watched him fire the gun. I’ve said it all this time!”
Reuben also recalled that the surgeon who removed the bullet fragments from her face recounted what she shouted before undergoing surgery.
“Puffy pew-pew’d me in the face! He testified in the criminal trial. It is in the record. They all knew he did it. Everybody knew he did it,” she said in the video.
Reuben claims Diddy has been harassing her “for the past 24 years.”
“You see this RICO charge that’s about to come? The conspiring and pew-pewing up the club and ruining my life… As God is my witness, I will not stop until you suffer every single iota of punishment, until I have every second of recompence that you took from me,” Reuben states in the video, according to The Jasmine Brand. She added, “I will not stop until you pay the price for what you did to my life.”
