*Talent agents, film producers, and directors to host the Imagination Lunchbox Virtual Open Call Auditions on Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 1pmEST to 3pmEST, powered by Zoom.
The auditions are part of the activities offered at the 8th annual Imagination Lunchbox International Film Festivals September 21 – 29, 2024 online and at various places in Baltimore, Maryland. The Virtual Open Call Auditions are presented in partnership with Talent Concierge Artists Agency (TCAA) and ReMARKable Productions. It is sponsored in part by A&B Productions and Face Plant Films.
Attendees get a chance to audition along with specially invited artists. The Imagination Lunchbox film festivals include the Imagination Lunchbox International Film Fest and the Imagination Lunchbox International Children’s Film Fest. Screening and awarding for both festivals will be held virtually on Saturday, September 21st. The Imagination Lunchbox/Eubie Blake Filmmaking Workshops are on Sunday, September 22nd at the Eubie Blake Cultural Center in Baltimore. Private screenings at various schools in Baltimore from Monday, September 23 to Friday, September 27th. The Imagination Lunchbox Basketball Tournament of Games community event will be held Saturday, September 28th at the Druid Hill Park Courts in Baltimore, and the ILIFFs end Sunday, September 29th with the Virtual Open Call Auditions.
Launched in 2015 by SAG/AFTRA multi-award winning actor (PBS, DreamWorks) and filmmaker with over 20 awards for his projects (Imagination Lunchbox, LLC) Anthony Michael Hobbs (www.Anthony-Michael.com), the film fests provide young filmmakers with a platform to screen and be honored for their projects. The community event has expanded in an attempt to meet the demands of the community.
In the past short films from the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Japan, Russia, Germany, Korea, Spain, and many more countries have been screened and awarded. Public and private schools throughout Maryland have screened the films for their students in a cultural program/assembly.

Four awards will be offered – “Best Film,” “Best Film Made By Youth,” “Film Festival Choice,” and “Most Uplifting Film”. Submission deadlines are April 5th for early submission discounts, July 12th is the regular deadline, and August 9th is the deadline for late submission. Winners are notified by August 24, 2024.
