This is Where ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 6 Was Filmed & How To Visit – Travel Noire

‘Love Is Blind’ is back in its sixth season, and it’s already bringing the destinations. Season 6 of ‘Love Is Blind’ takes Netflix’s hit reality show on a geographical journey like never before. After their heart-pounding proposals, the couples jetted off to a dreamy couples retreat in the sun. Yet, the real test began when they returned home to see if their love can handle the ups and downs of everyday life.

Continuing its tradition, ‘Love Is Blind’ rounds up all its singles from one metropolitan area. After exploring cities like Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Seattle, and Houston in previous seasons, the show now sets its sights on Charlotte, North Carolina. For the most part that is where filming took place. Unlike previous seasons where everyone was practically neighbors, some of the contestants come from all over, like Amber Desiree from Boston and Johnny McIntyre from New Jersey.

    The Pods

Let’s start at the beginning: the pods. No, they’re not in North Carolina, but all the way across the country in Santa Clarita, California, at the LA North Studios. The studios most recent films include “King Richard,” “Space Jam: A New Legacy,” “Don’t Worry Darling,” and “Emancipation”.

Santa Clarita is a vibrant city located in Los Angeles County. It is known for its scenic beauty: picturesque landscapes, including rolling hills, lush greenery, and stunning vistas. Santa Clarita boasts a variety of attractions, such as Six Flags Magic Mountain amusement park, the William S. Hart Ranch and Museum, and the vibrant Old Town Newhall district, which features art galleries, boutiques, and eateries. Outdoor enthusiasts can explore miles of hiking and biking trails, as well as enjoy recreational activities in local parks and open spaces. Also, its proximity to major metropolitan areas like Los Angeles, Santa Clarita offers much more to do and see.

Once the couples have found love in the pods, they’re off to a relaxing destination for some quality time. This time, it’s the beautiful TRS Turquesa Hotel in the Dominican Republic. As with previous seasons this resort is part of the Palladium Hotel Group and offers a luxurious experience. TRS Turquesa Hotel is a luxurious resort located in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and graces the shores of Playa Bávaro. The picturesque beach boasts over a kilometer and a half of white sands and turquoise waters.

The hotel offers all-inclusive packages, allowing guests to enjoy a wide range of activities and facilities without worrying about additional costs. TRS Turquesa Hotel typically caters to adult guests. Amenities at the resort may include multiple swimming pools, spa and wellness facilities, fitness centers, various restaurants and bars, water sports activities, a dedicated butler service, entertainment programs, and more. The resort gets a 4.8 rating. But just remember, such indulgence comes at a price.

Local filming spots included the iconic “Boathouse Cove”, according to a representative from the show’s production company. This stunning Lake Norman mansion was affectionately dubbed “Boathouse Cove” by its owners, and serves as a backdrop for the drama unfolding in the series.

Boathouse Cove holds up to 14 guests and has five bedrooms, seven beds, and five bathrooms. Inside the mansion, guests can enjoy an expansive layout, a fully equipped kitchen, eight televisions, an indoor bar, and a game room, ensuring a luxurious and entertaining stay. And the fun doesn’t stop inside; there’s a pool, hot tub, and even a boat deck for those sunset cruises. The host provides a kayak, two paddle boards, and an assortment of life jackets.

You can even experience the magic firsthand by booking a stay, with prices starting at $509 per night. So, if you’re looking to live your best ‘Love Is Blind’ life, you might want to snag a booking at Boathouse Cove through Lakecations by Avantstay.
