For new experiences to add to your bucket list, these hidden gems around the world might be worth adding to your next vacation. Even at popular tourist destinations, many lesser-known landmarks await discovery by travelers seeking something a bit more off the beaten path.

From secluded beaches to delicious restaurants, these places offer a refreshing escape from the crowded tourist spots. Check out these four suggestions from frequent travelers.

The Shrink’s Office Bar – Prague

@aroundtheatlas One of the coolest things to do in Prague! This bar is definetly worth the visit! #travel #prague #coolbar #hiddengems #traveltiktok #blacktiktok #thingstodo #fyp ♬ Stranger Things – Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein

London-based TikTok user @aroundtheatlas is on a mission to explore the Earth “bit by bit,” according to her bio. She shares must-do activities and places to visit from her travels. In 2023, she posted a video about a bar in Prague called The Shrink’s Office by Anonymous.

The speakeasy-style bar utilizes psychoanalysis and a wordless menu to delight guests with unique, flavorful drinks. According to the TikTok user, the bar shows guests a series of art pieces and notes the ones they gravitate toward the most. The bartender then uses the information to make a drink for the guest.

The second part of the menu offers guests a whiff of various perfumes. According to the TikToker, whichever scent stood out the most to the guests determined the drink they were served. She noted the experience a “ten out of ten” and suggested the bar as a must-do in Prague.
