As we eagerly await the departure of some of the most exciting new international flights departing from American soil this season, let’s look at the hottest options.

    Chicago to the Eternal City

    ITA Airways has answered the call by inaugurating a nonstop flight from Chicago to Rome on April 2 for those longing to enjoy Italy’s timeless allure. This year-round service will feature daily frequencies during peak season from June 3 to September 29. It promises to whisk travelers from the heart of the Midwest to the Italian capital in under nine hours. Additionally, with ITA’s sleek Airbus A330neo jets, passengers can revel in the airline’s exceptional business class cabin, designed to provide unparalleled comfort and luxury. 

    Philadelphia to Scandinavia

    American Airlines will embark on its most significant transatlantic route expansion since 2019. Among the standout additions is the inaugural nonstop service from Philadelphia to Copenhagen, Denmark commencing on June 6. This daily seasonal route will be operated by the state-of-the-art Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. Moreover, it will be a game-changer for East Coast travelers needing seamless access to the Danish capital.

    Seattle to Taipei

    On August 16, Taiwan-based carrier Starlux will grace the skies with its third US route, connecting Seattle to Taipei. This upstart airline boasts a luxury airline ethos and superior passenger experience. It will captivate West Coast fliers with its unparalleled service and cutting-edge Airbus A350-900 aircraft. Prepare to be pampered in true Starlux style, with four meticulously designed cabin classes catering to every traveler’s needs. 

    Minneapolis to Dublin

    Delta Air Lines is about to make Midwestern wanderers’ Irish dreams a reality by launching its new seasonal route from Minneapolis-St. Paul to Dublin on May 9. Operating five times weekly, this flight will take travelers from the Midwest’s heart to the Emerald Isle’s shores in under nine hours. Furthermore, passengers can enjoy the airline’s renowned Delta One business class. Here, lie-flat seats and delectable dining options, including a build-your-own-sundae cart, await. 

    Miami to Bogotá

    On June 3, Emirates will debut its new fifth-freedom service from Miami to Bogotá, Colombia. These routes allow passengers to board an international airline flight without passing through their home country. They are also a true gem for those seeking to experience the pinnacle of luxury on shorter journeys. Operated by Emirates’ wide-body Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, this flight will elevate the trip to new heights of indulgence. 

    Denver to Istanbul

    Turkish Airlines’ new nonstop flight from Denver to Istanbul will take to the skies on June 11. It will operate thrice weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with an additional Sunday flight commencing on July 11. The route is perfect for Mile High City residents seeking direct access to Turkey and beyond. This trip will take nearly 12 hours and cover an incredible 6,130 miles, making it the longest route ever recorded at Denver Airport. 

    New York to Edinburgh

    This summer, JetBlue is spreading its wings across the Atlantic with the addition of Edinburgh, Scotland to its ever-expanding transatlantic route map. Starting May 22, the New York-based airline will launch daily seasonal flights from JFK airport to the Scottish capital, whisking travelers across the pond aboard its sleek Airbus A321neo aircraft. Prepare to be pampered in JetBlue’s signature Mint business class, where 16 lie-flat suites await.
