OPINION: I Tried to Track Trump’s 100 Days… But He Flooded the Damn Zone

We set out to document the return of American authoritarianism—then he unleashed the firehose.

    I had a plan.

A daily tracker. A tight timeline. A way to document Donald Trump’s second attempt at the presidency—this time not as a fluke, but as an orchestrated, Heritage Foundation-endorsed reboot of American authoritarianism.

It lasted eight days. Eight long days that felt like 6 months. Coming into this, I had to be honest with myself. As a one man team, I could surely review, fact check and offer some light commentary.

What I didn’t account for—what I couldn’t account for—was the speed. The chaos. The firehose of executive orders, threats, rollbacks, flexes, and flat-out fascist cosplay. Trump didn’t walk into the White House with a second-term agenda. He kicked the door open with a checklist—and every item said “undo democracy.” A truly unhinged and unserious wildebeest with the discipline of an orphaned toddler.

So here’s the truth: I tried to give you daily updates. I failed. Not because I wasn’t paying attention, but because I couldn’t type fast enough.

    Let’s catch up.

    The Executive Orders (So Far)

    Abolish the Woke
DEI programs in federal agencies? Gone. Education equity efforts? Dead. Federal hiring pipelines for marginalized communities? Erased. This wasn’t policy—it was cultural revenge. Straight out of Project 2025.

    English Only, Baby
Trump made English the official language of the United States. Not because there was a national linguistic crisis, but because white nationalism thrives when you legislate exclusion. This wasn’t unity—it was xenophobia with a press release.

    Slash and Burn
The Department of Education? Being dismantled like it was a seasonal Spirit Halloween store. Bureaucracy is the new boogeyman—unless it’s a MAGA loyalist agency with unlimited funding and zero oversight.

    The Enemies List is Real
Biden. Hillary. Kamala. Dozens of former officials and critics had their security clearances revoked. No hearings. No reasons. Just vibes and vengeance.

Dig, Drill, and Deny the Climate Crisis
Using wartime powers to extract American minerals. Not to address an emergency—but to enrich fossil fuel cronies and slap the Green New Deal in the face.

    Loyalty or GTFO
Federal employees are now being evaluated on their “ideological alignment.” Translation? If you’re not MAGA-adjacent, you’re not welcome. Expect mass firings, especially in departments that still respect facts.

    What This Really Is

This is Project 2025 in motion. Not in theory—in execution.

For years, conservative think tanks warned us what they planned to do. Now it’s happening. The difference this time? They’re not hiding it. And neither am I.

So no, you didn’t get your neatly packaged “Day 1, Day 2, Day 3” format. But you will get the truth. Raw, regular, and Unmuted.

Because the chaos is the strategy. And silence was never an option.

If you think this doesn’t affect you, you’re already behind. Subscribe. Stay loud. Stay sharp. Stay Unmuted.
